The Economic Club of Tampa is partnering with the Hillsborough Education Foundation to host the Mayoral Inaugural Ball in Tampa on May 5. Being celebrated this year is Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. Being honored are former mayors Bob Martinez, Dick Greco, Sandy Freeman, Pam Iorio and Bob Buckhorn. The first two balls generated over $400,000 to buy state-matched scholarships for low-income students.
