Brandon Held is the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at The Mellick Group, which is the ownership group for Renewal by Andersen locations across North and Central Florida (including Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Pensacola), and soon expanding into southern Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Renewal by Andersen is the full-service replacement division of Andersen Corporation, which is the oldest window and door company in the world. Our team of nearly 500 - and growing - works tirelessly to deliver industry-leading custom windows and doors, with patented technology that combines beauty, performance, and innovation.

With dual expertise in law and business, Brandon brings a unique perspective to operational strategy, risk management, problem solving, and strategic negotiations. His academic background includes both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Decision & Information Sciences (Business Consulting) from the University of Florida, plus a law degree and M.B.A. from Stetson University College of Law, where he earned recognition from Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities as well as the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization that recognizes individuals who have excelled in legal advocacy.

After graduating law school in 2007, Brandon spent over a decade as a business and construction litigation attorney as a partner at a top Tampa law firm. Brandon represented clients ranging from local businesses to Fortune 100 companies. In 2018, he joined the Mellick Group as General Counsel, and in 2022 he transitioned to Chief Operating Officer, where he leverages his legal and business experience to drive growth and operational excellence.

Brandon is an entrepreneur at heart. He launched multiple ventures during college—including a small marketing company in Alaska and a seafood restaurant in Florida—building a foundation for leadership, business growth, and innovation. Today, Brandon still enjoys opening new markets and scaling the business.

Outside of work, you’ll find him on the golf course, fishing, playing chess with his son, attending sports events, and enjoying adventures with his wife and kids.
