Cedric is a Tampa native raised in Port Tampa. He attended Robinson High School excelling in academics and athletics. As the 2nd leading Scorer in the School’s history for Men’s Basketball, he leveraged his skill on the court into a scholarship to Florida Southern College. Cedric led basketball teams there to victory in more than 100 games in 4 years, graduating in 2002 with a double major in Financial Management and Marketing Management. Cedric Completed his MBA from Nova Southeastern in 2004. That same year he became a Wealth Management Advisor and quickly achieved Forum Designation - ranking him in the top 1% of Advisors in the Country. Cedric has achieved numerous financial industry designations and certifications. In 2015 he started Powell Development and Showtime Construction. Powell Development focuses on investing and developing Commercial and Residential Properties in the thriving Tampa Bay area. Cedric gives back to the Tampa community through his involvement with Academy Prep, Frameworks, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Florida Southern College, University of South Florida, and Bible Based Fellowship Church.
