Darryl is the Co-Founder and CEO of BluePearl Specialty & Emergency Hospital for Pets. Darryl has been CEO of business operations since he and his brother, Neil, opened their first veterinary hospital with three employees in Tampa in 1996 and has managed the growth to over 100 specialty veterinary hospitals throughout the United States. Darryl earned a BS in international commerce from Brown University and an MBA in finance and marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management from Northwestern University. Prior to attending business school, he worked as a certified public accountant at Deloitte & Touche. In 2010, Darryl and Neil were named Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year in Florida. Darryl is deeply committed to helping the Ybor historic district return to its roots as a diverse community, welcoming and inviting to a broad demographic of people, business interests, and activities.
