Paul Porter, Arena Voice for Tampa Bay Lightning and Orlando Magic

Paul Porter has been the arena voice of the Orlando Magic for all 34 years of their history and the arena voice of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League for all of the 30 years they have played. He has also been the press box voice of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for six years. He has three times announced NBA all-star games in 1980, 1992 and 2012. He was the voice of the NBA Finals in 1995 and 2009 and the NHL Stanley Cup Finals in 2004, 2015, 2020, 2021, and 2022, as well as the NHL All Star game in Tampa. Porter has been the voice of the World Basketball Championships in 1994 and 2002.
Porter is the morning update sports anchor for AM 860 WGUL in Tampa and hosts a two hour weekly radio program on Saturday mornings at 11am called The Home Team. He is married to Jan and lives in Tampa he has a son Alan and a daughter Stephanie (deceased).
