SPONSORSHIP

In order to be considered for membership, a current member must serve as a sponsor for that candidate. If you do not know any members at this time, we will connect you with a representative from the Club to be introduced as as a potential member once they have met with you.

APPLICATION

The completed application must include the sponsor’s signature and the signature from a current board member. If you’re filling out the online form above, we will assist with introducing you with a board member so they can have a conversation with you regarding obtaining a signature.

BIOGRAPHY & PHOTO

A short biography with your photo must be submitted with your application and submitted to our Executive Director. If you’re filling out the online form above, you can simply upload your photo and bio using the “Select Files” buttons at the bottom of the form.

ATTEND A LUNCH MEETING

A candidate is required to attend a lunch meeting with their sponsor. If you do not have a sponsor at this time, we will connect you with a representative from the club coordinate you attending a lunch meeting as their guest.

MEMBERSHIP

Please submit membership application to EconClubTampa@gmail.com. All applications for membership are submitted to the Board of Directors for review and approval.

The Economic Club of Tampa strives to attract a diverse membership by age, background, and profession, with an emphasis on identifying younger members so that the ideas and ideals of one generation will be passed on to the next.

Dues are $160 per quarter or $600 if paid annually, plus a one-time initiation fee of $100. These dues cover the cost of the weekly lunches and the two annual membership events.

The Economic Club of Tampa sponsors a weekly “Monday Meeting and Speaker Series” offering insights into the business, government and community issues that affect the Tampa Bay region. A buffet luncheon is offered with the opportunity to network and fellowship among various business and community leaders. A presentation by the speaker is offered along with a question and answer session. We begin at 12 pm and dismiss promptly at 1 pm.
